Norweh is a family-owned business that has been hard at work developing exceptional timber structures since our start in 2014.
Over the years, we have created hundreds of outdoor structures across North America. We have also used this time to refine our products, constantly improving both the quality and style of our work. Today, we produce some of the highest quality outdoor structures on the market.
Ownership Team

Frank & Deborah Ditlefsen worked together in the company’s early years as a husband and wife team. With skill sets that perfectly complemented each other, Frank was able to spend time perfecting the design, 3D rendering, and development of the product, while Deborah focused on customer service. Through their teamwork, the company grew and became a respected, established business in the market.
In 2018, Deborah was diagnosed with cancer. Despite a very difficult, trying, and painful period, everyone who dealt with her experienced her as a beacon of positivity and encouragement.
After a long battle with cancer, Deborah passed away on November 5th, 2019. She was a tremendously good influence for her family, and many of our customers still remember her very fondly.
In 2020, Frank remarried Sonja, who had been a friend of the family for many years. They now continue to work on the business together.

Carpentry & Installation Team

The five Ditlefsen boys — Zack, DJ, Lukas, Calvin and Shaun — are very involved with the business as the carpenters and installation team.
They work hard from the Norweh woodshop, producing the timber kits for delivery across North America. When required, the boys also work as the expert installation team to assemble pergolas, pavilions, and gazebos across Southern Ontario.
