What roof styles are available for NORWEH outdoor pavilion kits?

Roof style is one of the most important decisions in choosing your pavilion, affecting both the aesthetic and the structural performance. NORWEH Pavilion HT offers four options:

2-Gable Roof:

  • Classic symmetrical roof with two sloping sides meeting at a central ridge
  • Soaring open gable ends with exposed ridge beam — the most dramatic interior ceiling experience
  • Best for rectangular footprints on standard lots
  • Excellent for rain shedding; gable ends should be considered in high-wind regions

3-Gable Roof:

  • T-shaped roofline with three gable peaks — highly distinctive and architecturally complex
  • Ideal for corner placement or L-shaped deck configurations
  • Creates multiple interior zones within the same structure

Hip Roof:

  • All four sides slope downward to the posts — no open gable ends
  • Most aerodynamically stable option; strongly recommended in hurricane zones, coastal regions, and high-wind areas
  • More compact, enclosed feel than gable options
  • Excellent for symmetrical square footprints

Double Hip Roof:

  • Premium version of the hip roof with a secondary hip detail — the most architecturally refined option in the NORWEH lineup
  • Best for larger footprints where the extra roofline detail adds visual proportion
  • Combines maximum wind resistance with maximum visual impact
