Sizing rule: Length corresponds to the bay opening (post-to-post) on your pavilion.

*Important: T&G boards ship at length and are cut on-site to the exact post-to-middle-of-6×6 measurement during installation. This ensures a precise fit for every pavilion.

*Compatibility: Privacy Walls are designed for the NORWEH Timber Frame Pavilion HT and LT. They install into existing bays — they are not freestanding.

Step 1 — Measure your bay Measure post-to-post on the pavilion bay where the wall will install. Select the closest length up.

Step 2 — Decide your configuration

• One wall: Blocks the dominant wind direction
• Two walls (parallel): Creates a wind tunnel-free zone, popular for hot tubs
• Two walls (L-shape): Defines a corner room, popular for outdoor dining
• Three walls: Near-full enclosure with one open face, popular for outdoor kitchens

Step 3 — Prep Confirm your pavilion is fully installed and your footings are set. Privacy walls install into a completed pavilion, not as part of the initial build.

Step 4 — Install Follow the included manual. Most installations take 2–4 hours per wall for a competent DIYer.

We use CUTEK® Stain, the best-in-class wood protection oil, to keep your Douglas Fir structure looking beautiful for decades—without the typical headaches of wood maintenance.

Unlike regular stains that just coat the surface, CUTEK® penetrates deep into the wood, protecting it from the inside out. This means no peeling, flaking, or cracking—just rich, natural beauty that lasts.

It’s designed for extreme weather and works with the wood, not against it. All you need is a light recoat every 2–3 years to maintain color, or let it naturally silver over time while staying protected. You don’t have to worry about over-applying, the stain will just absorb into the wood and you’ll enjoy doing it!
